Blackberry, earthiness, melted tannins
A huge depth of bright crimson colour. Aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry with notes of ‘earthiness’. A whack of vibrant and rich berry fruit in the attack. This transitions through a strong backbone of fine-grained tannins to a pleasant, long finish. The soft acid balance is critical to the way your palate ‘reads’ the tannins and the way the whole mouthfeel comes together.
Still very youthful and yet to start developing the secondary complexities that will take the wine to a completely new level. A huge red–fruit-driven, vibrant and highly structured.
Remarkable mouthfeel and surprisingly low tannins for Tannat. Typically, one of the world’s most tannic grapes, but clever winemaking has ensured a very drinkable version that is fruit driven and complex. The aromas dance between violets, damson, blackberries and earth. Black fruit prevails on the palate softening towards a fragrant wood smoke. Very deep colour, tannins are ripe and juicy. A wine that is screaming for a BBQ.
